Sometime back in 2002, I found myself waiting for someone in a British research lab. In the reception area a bunch of periodicals were on display. One of them was the Newsweek edition that had a picture of George "Dubya" Bush overlayed in big letters with "Does Europe really hate him?" Underneath the title, someone had attached a yellow post-it...
